The weight & dimensions on the label were OVER the weight/size the package actually scanned in at, so I basically paid for a bigger, heavier package! There's no possible way an adjustment was necessary - unless they credited me for overestimating. I finally got a response from Reverb and they basically told me they can't control when the shipping company adjusts their rates, but that they would offer me a $25 credit towards a purchase on Reverb. I see good tube sellers that I have bought from over the years saying they have to sell the tube now AS IS because buyers were using the tubes for 3 months then wanting to return them, I'm guessing they just were trying them then didn't like them and figured they use them for the 3 month window.Ĭan you even sell the items AS IS to cover your ass these days?

I told him yeah my other Rockcrusher does the same thing because it's a rheostat pot, just like the rheostat pot on my THD hotplate as well. I called the guy's bluff because I knew the Rockcrusher wasn't broken and I would gladly take it back, he tried to claim the rheostat pot was broken making metal clicking noises while turning. I advise you to check your Reverb accounts and keep an eye on them because it's outrageous that they can come back 3 months after clearing your account and charge you absurd fees for shipping label adjustments. I don't know if my bank can reverse the charge but is not allowing people to contact them to dispute anything. Now the charge has gone through my bank and I have no other way to dispute except through my bank. In fact, the label was MORE than the actual weight. They operate on a monthly billing cycle, and my account was at $0 balance for 2 1/2 months before they suddenly put the charge on my account. Then, all they provide is a form that forces you to choose categories and a tiny little description box to type the problem.īasically, they took over 2 weeks to clear my account then came back over 2 1/2 months later and billed me $26. You have to go and dig it up inside their support articles. I've been looking on their help site which says at the bottom of their support articles is a link to submit a support ticket but there is no link. They direct you to their customer support center website but the chat is gone, and they have removed links to the submission form for help requests. I tried emailing them to dispute the charge, but the is no longer accepting messages. You can no longer call their number, nor can you schedule a call with them as they started doing a little while back. Well, I tried to give them a call but they removed all contact information on their website. Here we are over 2 1/2 months later and they charge my bank account $26.

A week ago, I received an email saying I'd be billed $26 for a 'shipping label correction.' The last transaction I did with them was on Feb 12 and they made me wait over 2 weeks to receive a payout for repair costs to my amplifier that was damaged - according to them 'damaged in transit' - because they said they had to 'make sure my account was clear or any charges or fees due.' I haven't done any business with Reverb for 3 months.
